UPDATE on Connie...
I have just left Connie's hospital room, where she was happily united with her son Christopher and our niece Rochelle.
Her doctor has increased her pain meds, and she seemed more at peace than she was much of today.

Am here with her now, and she seems improved over yesterday. She said she feels a little better, and some of her feistiness has returned, she made to smack me when I didn't immediately hand her a parrot necklace that came in the mail for her. From overseas, I think?

"I just got off the phone with Connie. I know you all are praying, but please continue to do so as she prepares to make her transition to the next plane.
She told me so many times to tell everyone that she loves you. She loves us all so much.

UPDATE on Connie...
There has been much talk/information exchanged on here, and everyone please understand this is a constantly changing situation.
The plan (for now) is that Connie will remain in treatment in the hospital. This is from the urgings of her doctor of 20+ years. He (again today) increased her pain meds. She will not suffer.
She may pass peacefully soon.
She may even make some recovery.
It...again...is a fluid situation.
I want to thank Mary and Stacey for coming and spending time with her today.
When I left a bit ago, Connie was in good spirits, and without fear.
I thank ALL of you again.
