Floridays

Post by FinsUp6835 »

I listened to this album yesterday, and I forgot how good it is. No skip needed.
"I love the now" is a great jam and he should play it more at live shows.

Floriday's was playing on RM during the Buffett buffet as I was driving home from work last night. I hadn't heard it in quite a while, so I cranked up the volume and gleefully sang along! :)

We must be having som sort of internet ESP going on. I loaded the album on my iPod this week and did the same thing. It really is one of his better albums.

I like how "If it all Falls Down" transitions to "No Plane on Sunday." One time we were in Tobego and were trying to make our way back to Houston and on to Corpus Christi. We couldn't make our connection in Trinidad so we stayed in Trini until Monday. It was my wife that said, "Well, no plane on Sunday! We can check it again come Monday." So we did! Great song.

Floridays is my "If You were stranded on an island with only one album and it can't be a compilation" choice.

Hands down my fave Buffett album, from start to finish.
Some will go and some will stay. It doesn't matter anyway ......

Pale invaders and tan crusaders worshipping the sun
on the corner of walk and don't walk somewhere down US1 . . .

Top 10 Buffett line of all time.

(# 1 forever being "oysters and beer for dinner every day of the year and I'll feel fine. I feel fine").
the hit and run is as good as any religion around this time of year . . .

Haha that's awesome! In that case....
