Aloha BN Buddies! Wheww, it has been a crazy week for me! I have been teaching a mini-course every morning to get students jump-started in their summer reading. Today's the last day, and my poor neglected garden will be happy about that!
Last night we went to beach concert, and we had our Welcome to Finland and Five O'Clock Somewhere flags flying, and the people behind us asked us if we were parrotheads, we struck up a conversation, and the guy said he is on the BN! Jim something, I don't remember his screen name, but he goes to Jones Beach, so hopefully we will be able to connect on that thread and visit at the tailgate!

Today's activities: last day of teaching, hit the beach with my sister, then a minor league baseball game (Lakewood Blue Claws)/ Life is good.

That's a great story Colleen -- hope you are able to connect with those PHs at Jones Beach. We all know about meeting up with fellow PHs/BNers and forming long-lasting friendships

My headache from yesterday is still hanging around although it moved from my right sinus to my left -- even my teeth hurt today.

Good morning. It's a little overcast now and the forecast is for heavy rain so I think I'll do laundry and drink coffee.

So much for the Pelicans 8 game winning streak. They started a short 3 game road trip yesterday by losing 10-4. On the bright side, one of their players is on a streak of reaching base safely on either a hit or a walk in 41 consecutive games, a Carolina League record.

She loves summer. She's walking all over the place now

Hi de ho patrons! I bought 46 feet of cloth for the pirate ship walls used in our youth theater.All this building of stuff would make great tail gate decorations.Photos soon.
