I wish that I did not have to go to work in a few minutes, but I wanted to come and show my support. I joined BN on August 27, 2007. I had just started paying attention to Jimmy's music, and I wanted to know more about the parrothead madness. Connie was the first of many people to welcome me to BN. She invited me to come to the MSC the next morning, and I did. I intended to stay at the MSC for maybe a few minutes, but I spent most of my day there chatting with Connie and meeting BNers. A few months later, my mom died of cancer, and Connie was one of many who expressed kindness and support. It was my pleasure to meet her in 2009 at Mohegan Sun. I didn't get to talk to her very much because she was running around the parking lot visiting many people who wanted to see her. She really was and is a truly nice person, a true parrothead indeed.
Connie, sore toards the stars with your fins held up high. You will be in a place where there is no pain, and cancer no longer exists. I know that you will be looking down on all of us watching over us and smiling.

Hate the reason, but then again, Connie is part of our big phamily, so we're here celebrating her.
