It's never too early for ice ream. Unfortunately, the last time I went grocery shopping I didn't buy any so I don't have ice cream in my freezer.

Beautiful day here in Southern Pennsylvania!

Just had a member picnic at the Lancaster Liederkranz (local German club). Yummy....awesome picnic food !

Next up -- off to see Tropical Soul on the outdoor deck at a nearby hotel. Enjoy what's left of your Sunday everybody.

Yesterday we went to the Clamfest to watch a friend's band and picnic on lobster rolls and steamers. Then we toddled off to a tiki bar on the river to see the awesome Sonny Kenn Band.

This morning we took a bike ride along the ocean road, stopped and picked up some souvenirs for a friend we are visiting in Idaho this week. Cooking up some ribs with corn and tomatoes. American Pharoah is running at our local horse track, but we don't want to be in the crowd, so we will watch at the shark shack instead.

Just read that Bill Murray is wandering the grounds for the Haskell. I would go just for that.

Hiya,Nancy!We wrapped up summer youth theater today by striking the set.I need a vacation.With the Maine house getting done,will you go there and chill this summer,or is there still too much to do?

Shark attacks in the Carolinas weren't enough this summer. I saw a report about an alligator coming ashore on the beach in Pawleys Island, about 15 miles south of here, this morning. That's the beach as in the Atlantic Ocean.

Evening, Bill. You are such a good resource for them.

We will finish up the kitchen by Labor Day, take a couple of weekends off to just play, and then do the main bathroom. After that it's all smallish indoor stuff and landscaping.

Yes I did. I got #28, David Berg. He's a relief pitcher from UCLA who just signed his first pro contract in June, he's been with the Pelicans since early July. I was at the first game he pitched, he came into the game in the 9th inning with the score tied 1-1. He gave up 2 runs and lost the game. He's pitched in 6 or 7 more games since then and hasn't given up any runs.

I'm going to wear it Christmas day. Next Sunday is Pink In The Park and they're wearing pink jerseys. Maybe I'll post a picture of myself in pink after I win one of them.
