Tomorrow is an off day for the entire league so I guess they could. But the Pelicans are in the Southern Division and the team they're playing today is in the Northern Division so the game doesn't affect the standings as far as the playoffs are concerned.

Maybe play the game on another day? Or maybe a refund?
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

There wasn't anything on the Pelicans website about the game being rained out so I drove to the ballpark. By time I got there it had been postponed. When I got home I looked on the website again. They were supposed to play Wilmington tonight. They have a 7 game road trip starting Tuesday before the playoffs start. The last 4 games are at Wilmington (Delaware, not North Carolina), it says the game will be made up as part of a double header at Wilmington and tickets can be exchanged for a ticket for either a playoff game or a game next season. I might go to the box office tomorrow and try to get a ticket to next season's opening day.

I was all prepared to have some greasy ballpark food for dinner. I guess I should forage for food now that I'm back home.

I watched a couple of innings of the game. Japan's catcher looked like he was about 6 years old.
