Good morning world!

I sealed the church decks and steps this morning. It's already too muggy to work outside.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hello.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Good late afternoon/early evening ladies and gentlemen.

I went for a walk at one of the local parks. It isn't too hot today but it's really humid and the walk made me thirsty. There's a supermarket across the street that has a great beer selection so I stopped to peruse the beer aisle. I bought a 6 pack and went up to the cashier. There were 2 high school age girls at the register, maybe one was a new employee being trained because she was watching the other one. When the cashier rang up my beer, and for some reason she didn't charge tax, she said "That's $9.99." Without missing a beat, the other girl said "in one easy payment" and the cashier responded "and it includes free shipping." I wonder if they rehearse their lines before any customers show up? I should have asked if it came with a money back guarantee, then I could have broken into song ...

Like a ginsu knife or a bamboo steamer
Late night TV hawk-eyed screamer
You'll be the coffee I'll be the creamer
I'm money back, money back guaranteed
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

It was pretty nice today, except for the humidity. Now the western sky is black as night and there's a lot of thunder. No rain yet though.

Same here. Supposed to be a great weather weekend though.

How late does the Pelicans' season run? Any more games?

They have 6 games left in the regular season, all on the road, then the playoffs start Wednesday. The Pelicans were the Southern Division champions in the first half of the season so they already qualified for the playoffs. If they make it to the championship series and both rounds of playoffs go the maximum amount of games, they'll play either 5 or 6 home games. They sold a playoff package, tickets to all possible home games, plus an all you can eat pregame picnic before next Thursday's game, for $25. Not $25/game, $25 total.

We are plugging along here in PA. Kevin plugging a little slower than most but each day is getting better. PT is not physical therapy it's pain and torture. I'm only working 1/2 day tomorrow. We are waiting for Tig and TailgatingPH to show up for the weekend ZBB concert and other weekend activities.
