Just Kickin' Back Friday @ the MSC

Just sitting and watching the Pope addressing general assembly in NYC. Got a call from Mom yesterday. Dad had fallen and
she couldn't get ahold of my brother Frank or nephew Mark who live nearby. Dad had a leg amputated a month ago and had
fallen getting into the shower. I covered the 10 mile trip in 18 minutes. Even with the limb loss he still weighs close to 220 lbs.
Tight quarters in the bathroom but on the third attempt I managed to lift him off the floor and into his wheelchair. Spent the
evening with Frank, Mark, and brother Chris as we poured cement and installed posts for the ramp and landings we are building
at Mom and Dad's for wheelchair access. The bags of cement were 80 lbs each. Quite the workout that day. Needless to say I'm
pretty tired and sore. So I'm just sitting back and hearing what Pope Francis has to say. :pirate:

Good morning.

John, I got tired just reading your post talking about manual labor.

The rain finally stopped long enough for me to go to the ballpark and get my Carolina League Champions t-shirt in the pro shop. Season ticket holders get a discount in the store, the amount is based on whether you have a full or partial season plan. I had neither for this season, I just went to a lot of games. The manager of the store was there and when I went to pay for the t-shirt he asked me if I was a season ticket holder. I told him I wasn't and he said "I'll give you the discount anyway, you were here a lot." He gave me 15% off. [smilie=gt-happyup.gif]

Hey Nancy, I got your message.
(Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you)

A showery then sunny then showery day here. Bit of a cold wind too. I guess winter is not quite ready to let go.

Have a great Day/Evening/Night/Morning.
