Good morning. It looks like it's going to be a lousy day so I'll stay home and get ready for game 1 of the World Series.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

Yes, more rain and a coastal flood advisory.
I was about to have lunch and I realized I was missing a major ingredient, no bread to make a sandwich. I wasn't going to go grocery shopping until tomorrow but I had to go out in the rain. I could have taken some salami and provolone, spread some mustard on it and folded it up but it tastes better between two slices of bread.

you could have used crackers but, of course, that means you would have needed crackers in the house.

Afternoon BNers
Larry, you need to keep a small loaf of bread in your freezer for emergencies![beadygrinner [smilie=beadygrinner.gif]](./images/smilies/beadygrinner.gif)

I always have crackers in the pantry but wouldn't that be a canapé, not a sandwich?Saltx3 wrote:LIPH wrote:Yes, more rain and a coastal flood advisory.

yes but if you eat a lot of them it's the same amount of food as a sandwichLIPH wrote:I always have crackers in the pantry but wouldn't that be a canapé, not a sandwich?Saltx3 wrote:LIPH wrote:Yes, more rain and a coastal flood advisory.

In a noisy bar in Avalon,I tried to call you.......
I was in a biker/fisherman bar in NY 2 weeks ago.An older woman asked us if the pay phone worked. It didn't.She had been an operator when she was younger and demonstrated pulling wires.

If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
