Alpine Valley 2016

I've been hoping for a Labor day weekend show for years and now we finally have one!

Wouldn't you know, I have tickets for the LSU/Wisconsin game at Lambeau Field that night

Now what am I going to do???

If anyone has figured out how to be in two places at the same time, please let me know!

It's going on a week since we heard the PH clubs confirmed the Alpine date.. any ideas why we haven't gotten an official listing on margaritaville.com , and/or on-sale date on live nation or ticketmaster?

I've always wondered why the Alpine date always seems to be announced so late. I'm sure Jimmy knew he was going to play Alpine on September 3rd when the tour was first set up. It seems to me all dates could be announced at once.

This is the third week in a row i've said this, but this week will be the week!!

Seriously though, what is the holdup? Amo confirmed the show on the 9th. Usually after he confirms the show, the info is announced a couple of days later. Over 2 weeks now. Get with it Jimmy and Alpine Valley!!

The problem is that the ticket sales for Tinley are so shitty. Go look at LN and you will see there are probably over a thousand seats available, and good ones at that. If he puts Alpine on sale now, those seats at Tinley will never be sold. Its a waiting game, but its starting to get to the point where he can't wait too much longer as people are beginning to make other arrangements, especially on a holiday weekend. Jimmy no longer has the drawing power to fill both Tinley and Alpine. IMO he needs to choose one venue going forward, In other words drop Tinley from his schedule.

The good news is if you are looking to go to Tinley, if you wait a little closer to the show I bet you can get great seats for half price from all the dbag scalpers having to unload them. And that brings a smile to my face!

Not likely.. Jimmy doesn't play consecutive shows two nights in a row anywhere any more. Plus based off the ticket sales in Chicago, and the last couple years at Alpine, I don't think the demand is there for 2 shows at Alpine.

My parents called me last night and told me in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal there is a large ad for Jimmy coming to Alpine on September 3rd with special guests G Love and Special Sauce. Tickets go on sale next Friday. Sorry if I'm late to the party and this was discussed but I didn't see it mentioned.

Got a notice on Facebook that the show is indeed Saturday September 3rd and the tickets go on sale next Friday May 13th at 10:00 AM. You all on this forum seem to always be right!! We booked our room weeks ago! Looking forward to another great time at Alpine!
