Agreed. Why would Buffett take off all of July and the first half of August and then put one show in the middle? Doesn't seem like it'd make sense. Besides, I'm not sure the confirmed Alpine shows mean they'll try to fit Buffett in that same month. Why put all your eggs in one basket instead of spreading it out a little. I'd think they'd want to have a show toward the end of the season.

I can only tell you my advice would be to start checking for lodging for the Labor Day weekend show.......my source is very certain that the date is set to go........

Thanks so much for the heads up! I grabbed my lodging last night. For the first time ever I was able to book in East Troy

Smart logic is good logic. Can also say one of the guys involved with the Shake on the Lake said they were "maybe" separating from the Alpine show this year. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to a Labor Day weekend show. Looking into a weekend stay in Lake Geneva. Worked well for us last year. FinsUp!

Zac Brown playing Alpine June 25th and 26th, Buffett playing Chicago June 25th...possible that Buffett makes a cameo at the Sunday Zac Brown show...just a thought!

September 3rd is now looking better for Jimmy at Alpine Valley, there was until this morning a possibility that he was playing Bristow VA on that date but that date is no longer available as Rob Zombie is playing Bristow on 9/3

I was checking the LiveNation site for Alpine Valley and noticed on the current concerts selling tickets that the 100 section is now labeled PIT and being sold as General Admission. Hoping they don't do that for Buffett!

I have honestly not heard anything from any of my contacts nor the from the resort we stay at near Delavan. I am thinking Alpine just might be skipped again this year. Rumor has it he may be playing US Bank Stadium here in Minneapolis this fall but who knows.

Come on Jimmy. We all know you're playing Alpine Valley September 3rd. Please announce the damn date already!!

Hey guys! I was checking out Alpine Valleys Facebook page today and came across this. It was on the link for summer employment. This is copied directly.

There are a variety of positions available at Alpine Valley each season. Take a look at the descriptions below for more information. All employees are required to be available to work all shows. Shows are typically on Friday, Saturday, or Sundays. For the 2016 season, there will be 7 shows. See our Show Calendar for the exact dates.

7 shows. Six announced so far...I wonder who will be number 7.

I got an invitation as an Alpine Valley season ticket holder to the 2016 concert season kickoff party in Chicago on May 4th. It says tickets for the shows will be distributed that evening to ticket holders attending the party. So...we should have an announcement coming soon, at least before May 4th. I will pass on any other info I get.

Saturday September 3rd....I have been told....Very trusted person.....should be awesome! Fins Up!
