Too deep for most snowblowers so it's shoveling time. How's everyone else?

Good morning survivors. Officially we got 30.2 inches (767 cm). It beats the old record from 1983 of 25 inches.

The kids that usually come around looking to shovel will have to dig themselves out first.Crazy Navy Flyer wrote:Good morning BN.. Looks like a winter wonderland up there.

Because of drifting from the high winds, some of my driveway is 4 ft deep.
Who's got the rum?

Snow so high, it reached the bottom of my shins.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Morning, pholks. Only a little snow here, just enough for the pup to romp around in while I shovel.

Afternoon BN. Lessee. Central Park (the official US National Weather Service site for NYC) got 26.8" of snow. That's the 2nd biggest storm. The biggest one was in 2006 and brought in 26.9'.
I walked to work and was surprised how clean the sidewalks were. There's limited mass transportation so not everyone made it in. But it should be a slow one.
Have a good one!

If I remember correctly, the storm in 2006 was in February. NY set a record for the most snow in the month of February and it was all from that one storm.nycfeat wrote:Afternoon BN. Lessee.
