It took 45 minutes to finally get something in the 101-103. That was a little nuts. Finally landed on a pair in 101 row P.

I must've thrown back hundreds of lawns, and waaaaaay to the side orchs. Strangely, not that many 200's.

Somebody was asking about hotel in Philly on the last page, too. The Hilton Penn's Landing is right next door to the ferry dock, and a short walk over the footbridge over 95 to a ton of bars.

Thanks, that was me. I just booked rooms at that hotel. Any idea if tailgating is allowed or frowned upon?

The parking lot is in an attached garage, so that might not be fun anyway. The hotel bar usually gets crowded with people going to the show. Then the ferry has people drinking a bit. You could always hook up with a tailgate from this board and then meet them in the lot.

We usually go to lunch and then bar hop back to the hotel to get ready and then pack a disposable cooler type thing to carry around the lot. I think we're going down the night before to really take advantage of the area for the day, too.

short walk right to South Street

for a really good margarita and burger try Copabanana on the corner of 4th and South

if you are looking for beer with your munchies you have:
Paddywhacks and Bridget Foys on the corner of 2nd and South
or Jon's "birthplace of Larry Fine" on the corner of 3rd and South

Anybody know what time the lots open for tailgating?

That's always a good question. Some years they're aholes and don't open the lots till one o'clock or later and let the traffic back up all over the streets of Camden. Last year and the year before, if I remember correctly, the lots were open before noon. So, who knows. I'm hoping they will follow what they did the last two years and open before noon.

I called the venue today and they told me the lots will open at 3:00

Agreed. They always say 3:00. we've been in the lots at 12:00 some years and there were people that had been set up and partying already when we got there.

Ha! That is okay. We have our own house to stumble back to in Seaside Park! Right now, we only have a few going but with could grow. How many are in your party?

We have a bus coming down from the land of anthracite coal! Bringing our keet and her college roommate, a Buffett virgin! Someone please tell that the parking lots have gotten better in the 3 or 4 years that we've stayed away? The last time the parking Nazis were horrendous.

same with us.....we are hoping.....but will wait until a few weeks before the show to see about scoring some cheap seats.
