I just got this album two weeks ago. As a die hard ZZ Top fan, I was somewhat skeptical of the Reverend Willie G's solo release. This album rocks! Now, don't expect ZZ Top because it isn't that at all. However, it is kind of a Carlos Santana meets Fabulous Thunderbirds with a little Houston HIp-Hop thrown in. You can hear Billy's signature guitar rif on nearly every track.
This is a great listen for those that like great music and are willing to be open to an artist exploring something different.
Great job Reverend Willie G.! Go buy this.
