Aloha Loves! We went from a gorgeous sunny day yesterday to gloomy cold rain today. But a good day for pot roast in the crockpot, and cozying up with a book. My crazy hubby is riding a bike around the five boroughs of NYC today. Brrrr.
Oh yeah, and Blessed Beltane -- May 1, the first day of summer to my ancient Irish ancestors ... a day when young maidens would wake at dawn, and bathe in the morning dew while facing the rising sun ... A bit chilly for that today!

Hiya Colleen! No dew dancing here either,It's too cold and I'm short on maidens, Here is a nice smallmouth bass from yesterday.

It was a little overcast earlier this afternoon but now the sky is getting really dark. No rain yet but some thunder and the occasional lightning flash.

Sorry I missed everybody yesterday. After hitting the early church service we went to our 2nd favorite Sunday spot -- LOWES.
Following the path of a few neighbors and getting a privacy screen for one side of the upper deck. Of course, it's been too raining since then to bother getting the heavy thing out of the box.
Then it was off to get the Skeeter and head to the local ball stadium (but only after it stopped raining). Had free tickets and it was kids day. Since the weather was horrible the stands were empty so we pirated 3 seats under roof. Austin LOVED his first semi-pro game. Didn't get back home until 10:30 since he lives 30 mins away and we had to wait for his mommy to get home from work. Long day for us "older" folks. Of course, he's 2, so enuf said
