Since this album was mostly written in Port Aransas, TX, I had to get it. This is a good "little" album. I describe it as "little" because it only has six songs on it. I wonder if Keith Sykes is going to put these songs on a full length album at some point? This first song is listed as a "single mix" so one has to wonder.

Anyway, it has some good songs on it. Track 3 and 6 aren't my favorites, but as a whole it is a good buy. The first track really brings two beach bars in mind (for those of you familiar with Port Aransas): Shorty's Place and the Port A Beach Lodge. I love both places and this song takes me there. The second track is what all good beach folks do in Texas on a Saturday Night: make Sangria Wine! The acoustic version of "Coast of Marseilles" is really good also. This was cut by Jimmy long ago.

This is some good summer listening. Get it!

Note: Do the download. I typically buy CDs, but there isn't any additional artwork or liner notes to speak of, other than a back cover.
