Good morning Bill. Track season is finally over. We were at the state championships in Shippensburg Friday and Saturday.
Temps were 90 both days. One of our girls medaled in the long jump. Saw a few records broken including a boy put the
shot 74' 3.5"! Broke the old record by more than 4 ft. He's only a junior and will probably break the national record of 77'
next season. That's a long way to toss a 12 lb piece of metal. :pirate:
Who's got the rum?

Good morning. Last night, the tropical storm warning had been extended until 10:45pm Tuesday. When I checked the weather this morning, it was cancelled. Tropical Storm Bonnie is back to being a tropical depression.

Glad to hear it.

The water is suppose to be down today, so I can get to the pharmacy. I didn't plan this flooding very well and am out of drugs. [smilie=asa.gif]

The weather app on my phone says it's 189 degrees. It also says the humidity is only 4% so at least it's a dry heat.

We went to Walgreens to get drugs and all the water has receded off the main road!
There are stores in the area dragging out flooring and carpeting....there is a craft beer bar that is giving beer away if someone will help them clean up. Ummmm nope.

However, more rain is coming Wed. UGH

Ahoy!
I was going to mow the jungle that is my yard, but rain will put that on hold. We had phun today buying toys and stuffed animals for orphans in the Ukraine. They will attend a camp this summer sponsored by the Kiev Kiwanis club. Times are tough there and we wanted to help.Shipping may be more than the price of the toys, but that's okay.
I treated myself to a new pop up. With a coupon.it was 42$! Not long ago, they were 100$.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Hi BP
I bought 2 pop ups and thought they were a good idea.
The first time a wind came up, they were a twisted pile of metal and canvas.
Yes, I have quit buying them.

Hiya Molly! I watched pop ups cartwheeling over vehicles during a storm after a concert. Those little stakes wouldn't have helped hold them down. So far,I've been lucky at concerts.

There were in our backyard....I didn't know the wind swirled around like that, but guess after twice, it must.
