I was going to mow the jungle that is my yard, but rain will put that on hold. We had phun today buying toys and stuffed animals for orphans in the Ukraine. They will attend a camp this summer sponsored by the Kiev Kiwanis club. Times are tough there and we wanted to help.Shipping may be more than the price of the toys, but that's okay.
I treated myself to a new pop up. With a coupon.it was 42$! Not long ago, they were 100$.
Hi BP
I bought 2 pop ups and thought they were a good idea.
The first time a wind came up, they were a twisted pile of metal and canvas.
Yes, I have quit buying them.
Hiya Molly! I watched pop ups cartwheeling over vehicles during a storm after a concert. Those little stakes wouldn't have helped hold them down. So far,I've been lucky at concerts.
There were in our backyard....I didn't know the wind swirled around like that, but guess after twice, it must.
I was under a long one that was not anchored during a festival.A wind gust was lifting it. I yelled at an older woman that I knew from church to get away.As I grabbed a leg,she snapped at me,"You can't tell me what to do!" Then she saw the canopy lifting. She moved.
