Morning BNers
Waiting for it to start to rain....again.
I thought about going to the parking lot to see if I could find PHriends, but think I'm going to stay home and dry.![battingeyes [smilie=battingeyes.gif]](./images/smilies/battingeyes.gif)

Good morning. I'm going to the Pelicans game tonight, the original forecast was for rain with a chance of thunderstorms. They took the rain and t-storms out of the forecast, now it's only supposed to be 90 degrees and humid.
what I really mean . . . I wish you were here

It's been raining since 7 last night and is scheduled to rain all day. Watching the weather to decide even to go to the show. The roads by the venue have been flooding easily. Don't want to get on the other side of town and not be able to get home tonight.
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

As much as I would love to go see whoever is in the tailgate area, I think I'm going to stay home.

That's a good idea. I'm sitting under some trees instead of in front of the stage taking photographs. It probably helps that I forgot to pack batteries and memory cards.springparrot wrote: We had a big storm during the night, but it is only drizzling now.

Hi All,
Well Sunday dawns after a fairly sleepless night.
Plenty of rain and wind.
The gauge had 127 mm (5 or so inches) this morning.
The wind settled a bit but as I type this it has decided to have another go.
Hatches still battened.
For those going to shows - have fun!

It might have quit raining in the area, so the show should be OK tonight.
(We live about 7 miles from the venue) The hill will be a muddy mess, and as long as it doesn't rain sideways under the roof, everyone should be good.

Re: Buffett Day Saturday @ the MSC
Well all I can say is have fun.
It could be hailing sideways and I'd still get there - as it has been 5 years since the last Sydney gig, and 23 years before that...
I am not jealous (much)

BUT, I just can't deal with the craziness. The last show we went to, we had so much trouble with drunks being incredibly stupid. We are so over being hit with beach balls. I don't mind bouncing the balls, but when drunks try to see how hard they can hit them into people to purposely spill beer, drinks, etc.
Nope, too old to deal with it. So, I'll stay home and watch the show from the comfort of my couch.

Re: Buffett Day Saturday @ the MSC
Evening folks. Been a long day. Coming home last night at midnight on I-81 the engine on my car just exploded.
Two holes in the block and oil everywhere. Of course I was in the passing lane when it happened. Drifted over to the shoulder
and sat for two hours waiting for a tow truck. The scary part was how many times tractor trailers almost hit me even though
I was off the road with my lights flashing. I don't know if the truckers were drunk, sleepy, not paying attention, or a
combination.
