Aloha SPH and all of the sleepyheads that toddle in after me! The Jersey shore is having a beautiful day after yesterday's deluge with lightning and a tornado watch! It is sunny, breezy, low humidity. Just finished working out, and I am planning on hanging in my back yard and hiding from the bennys most of the weekend. Will return to the beach and the shore restaurants and tiki bars on Tuesday, when the coast is clear! Not meaning to offend anyone, I know that folks around here depend on the tourist trade for their livelihood, I just prefer the local crowd (cutoffs and flip flops as opposed to tight white pants and high heels). I am happy to be floating in the pool for the duration!

And happy Independence Day Weekend! No Taxation Without Representation!

Good afternoon. The weather forecast has changed since I woke up this morning. Now it's only 30% chance of rain this afternoon and partly cloudy tonight instead of 50% chance of thunderstorms all day. I'm going to the Pelicans game tonight and I didn't want to get rained on. It's also American Cancer Society Night so I'm going to wear my Strike Out Cancer jersey from last year.

Gorgeous, sunny, breezy day here in Maine. We haven't been up for a couple of weeks so threw open the windows to air out, clear the dust bunnies and get ready for the season.

Beautiful and hot day here on the Gulf Coast. It's been a day by the pool with good music and cold beverages.

Finally getting a chance to sit on a chair -- it's 3:30 pm EST.

Was busy doing my typical Saturday errands and getting a little bit of seed planted in some bare spots in our little patch of a front yard. (they don't call our development's main street "Rocky Knob" for no reason).

Kevin is making some habanero/ghost pepper type of hot sauce in the kitchen right now so I stay clear. Just the fumes make my eyes water, my nose run, and get me sneezing.

Soon we will both be out on the deck with some of the 5 O'clock Brewery home brews

Ahoy! I had an early fishing day with a friend and came home to a shrimp casserole and a nap. Now, what kind of mischief can I get into?

My local supermarket has its own line of sausages. They recently came out with a new one, the Firecracker, that has roasted habeneros in it. I bought a package and cooked a couple of them the other day. They tasted fine but the whole time they were cooking I was sneezing.
