Morning, pholks. Another glorious day on the harbor. Oh, and here's breakfast now.

Hopefully. Who's pitching?LIPH wrote:91 degrees, heat index 102. I think I'll crack open a beer, turn on the MLB Network and watch the Mets beat the Cubs again.
Holy Crap.LIPH wrote:Syndergaard is pitching for the Mets. Some guy I never heard of is pitching for the Cubs because the Mets knocked Jon Lester out in the 2nd inning. It's 11-1 Mets in the top of the 6th.

Hiya Nancy! Now, you understand why sailors drink.lime rickie wrote:Evening, peeps.
Third time docking the boat for the Limes. Yours truly was supposed to gracefully leap off the boat and grab the first tie line. However, I jumped from the wrong part of the deck and did a cartoony split from the boat to the dockin front of the lunch crowd at the restaurant there and, of course, the experienced boaters.
Managed NOT to land in the drink though so walked out of there with my head held high.

OMG BE CAREFUL! I landed myself in the emergency room docking our boat when the kids were little. We were pulling up to a floating dock, I jumped off the boat onto the dock. As I was jogging along, focused on not screwing up, I forgot to pay attention to my feet. My leg went in between the sections of dock, up to my thigh! I had to be carried off the dock and brought to the hospital where they thought I might have broken my femur. Thank God it was just a very deep bruise. I still have a dent in my left leg to remember what a klutz I am!lime rickie wrote:Evening, peeps.
