Good morning. No Buffett show for me tonight, I'm going to the Pelicans game. It's Coastal Carolina University Night in honor of the 2016 College World Series Champions. It's also Thirsty Thursday which usually means $1 Bud and Bud Light 12oz. drafts and $2 16oz. cans. Tonight only they're including Carolina Blonde and Carolina Strawberry Cream Ale so at least I'll be able to get some decent beer for $1.

Anyway, HEB has Hatch about everything in their stores, including Hatch Beer.
Ummm, no we didn't buy any.

I've had a couple of beers flavored with chili peppers. I don't remember the names of them but they weren't horrible. One of them even had a small pepper in the bottle.

I bought some brats the other day that had green chili's in them. YUM!

I just got a severe thunderstorm alert from the weather app on my phone. No rain yet but there's been thunder and lightning for about the last 1/2 hour and the sky is getting dark. It better not rain, I have a baseball game to go to.

The sports reporter from the local NBC affiliate just did a report from inside the gift shop at the Pelicans ballpark. It's Coastal Carolina University Night and the Pelicans are going to be wearing teal jerseys (one of Coastal's colors) with their own logo on one sleeve and the CCU logo on the other sleeve. Another jersey auction for charity so I guess I'll try to get one if the game isn't rained out. I have an orange and purple one from Clemson Night and a garnet and black one from University of South Carolina Night. Might as well go for the hat trick.

When I had a job, there was a place near my office that had a chili of the day. I went there for lunch one day and they had jalapeno sausage chili. I thought it would have chunks of sausage and jalapeno. I thought wrong. The jalapenos were stuffed in the sausage. The chili was very tasty.

Sitting in Parker, Colorado.......having a cold beer and dinner..........it is 8:18 PM eastern time and the show is half over?? what the heck???
