Temperature going the other way here... high 70s today, warmer each day with 90s by the weekend. Yuck!

I forgot to mention this yesterday. Sunday night at the Pelicans game I made my usual stop at the Wyndham Resorts table in the concourse of the ballpark. They want people to sign up for the timeshare sales pitch, I never do, but they have cards you can fill out to win things. I fill out a card at every game and so far this year I've won a replica Pelicans jersey from the team store and a coupon for a free hot dog and soda. They usually have guys and/or middle aged women at the table. Sunday there were 2 guys and a young woman, maybe 25 or so years old and very cute. While I was filling out my card, she started giving me the timeshare sales pitch trying to get me to sign up. I told her I fill out the card at every game I go to but I never sign up for anything. She said "Is there anything I can do to get you to sign up?" :o The voice inside my head had many ideas about what she could do but I showed admirable restraint and just said no thanks. I didn't win anything in the drawing.

So far, so good! I don't really know what to do with myself yet. I have a bunch of doctor appointments to catch up on and was finally able to schedule a couple of contractors to come to my house. Too early to tell, but I think I'm gonna like this gig!

I did smile when I looked up from filling out the card, but I've had enough with younger women for a while. Unless one of the H(.)(.)ters girls has a thing for worn out old goats.

hiya peoples!

Larry, I love the story :) She probably thought you were made of money and she had plans for the bonus she hoped you would get her ;)

Trying to adjust to back to work life. The first few days back are tough....both my kids came home and snoozed for a while after school. This whole sticking to a schedule is exhausting.
well, ummmmmmm, yah, I guess I better come up with something witty to put in this spot since everyone is reading it.......
