Morning Bill, Deb, Linda & BN.
How bad were you hit Deb?
We've got no real plans this weekend. My uncle is up from NC so we'll be hanging with him some. Probability a cookout if the weather guessers are right & the rain holds off.

You're only as young as you are right now. Make the best of it!

Millions of pine cones, limbs and Spanish moss all over the yard and in the pool. Only 1 fallen pine tree. Needless to say, I'll be working in the yard for a long, long time.

Re: Labor Day Weekend Show Saturday@ the MSC
Good morning.
It rained all day yesterday, I mean all day, and we had some pretty strong wind gusts last night but no real damage in my neighborhood. When I was watching the local news, one of the weather guessers was in a neighborhood about 5 miles south of me. She had some handheld piece of equipment that she said measured wind speed. There was sustained wind, not gusts, of 46.9 mph. I don't think it was that bad by me. I also heard reports of lots of roads either flooded or with water on the road, but I didn't go anywhere yesterday so I don't know if any of those roads were near me.
Event organizers in the Myrtle Beach area should try to coordinate their schedules better. Friday-Sunday is the Coastal Uncorked Food, Wine & Spirits Festival and today is craft beer day. House of Blues has Brews, Blues & BBQ, another craft beer festival, today. Yesterday and today is also the Beach, Boogie & BBQ Festival. I was going to go yesterday afternoon but it's an outdoor event so that wasn't working out too well.

Almost time to go sample some craft beer. They didn't post a list of the brewers who will be there so I have no idea what beers I'll have.

Re: Labor Day Weekend Show Saturday@ the MSC
When I was at the Pelicans game Thursday night, I saw a guy wearing a Foothills Brewing Co. shirt so I asked him if he was going to be at Coastal Uncorked this weekend. He said he was. We chatted about beer for a few minutes then he said he had to go find his friend who was at the game. When I got to the beer festival this afternoon, I stopped at the first table I saw to get a sample then was just walking around to see what else they had. The guy from Foothills saw me and came over to say hi and he told me he bought me a beer at the game Thursday but when he came back he couldn't find me. I missed out on a free beer.
