I saw that , but he did mention in an interview , that he would be cutting back on touring , what that means , who knows , could he just be doing a few events , like the House of Blues , and other smaller venues. I guess we'll find out.

I would think if he was going to tour he would definitely come back to Frisco! He's always said the Dallas area was one of his favorite shows (but for all I know he says that at every concert)

Found this on the Visit Frisco website, http://www.visitfrisco.com/event/jimmy-buffett/38/, saying that Jimmy Buffett is playing Toyota Stadium on May 27, 2017. Maybe it's wishful thinking, or perhaps they have info that hasn't been officially released yet?

I saw this also and sure hope the May 27th date is correct. I've already made my hotel reservations for every weekend in May, just to cover all the bases.

Found this on the Visit Frisco website, http://www.visitfrisco.com/event/jimmy-buffett/38/, saying that Jimmy Buffett is playing Toyota Stadium on May 27, 2017. Maybe it's wishful thinking, or perhaps they have info that hasn't been officially released yet?

I sent the following message to the Frisco Convention Facebook page:
I see that you show that Jimmy Buffett is coming to Frisco again May 27th...can you confirm this?

Here was their response:
Gary, thank for reaching out. That date has changed to early June but waiting to confirm that we can publish the date from Toyota Stadium. I will follow up back with you shortly!
Gary, the date is still not available to the public but I can confirm that it is moving. Please stay tuned to our page and we will post about it as soon as it is released. Thanks!

They have construction in some of the grassy lots next to the stadium. I wonder how that will affect the (less expensive) parking availability...

Plano - Looks like more digging may be needed. The Comfort Suites and Hampton are playing the annual Buffett Weekend games already - Comfort has everything blocked from 5/25-5/28 and the Hampton has upped their rates to almost double the usual. I wonder if the town is dancing with us because the published the date ahead of the official announcement. My Cop friend said "what you see is what we bid on".

I hope the dates are correct, It makes for a much better drive back to Colorado with the extra day over a holiday weekend.

Based on the response from the Frisco convention folks it looks like early June might be the dates for the concert...unless they realized they screwed up on releasing the date and are trying to fool us. Whichever, it sounds good for Frisco!
