Far Side of the World

I have to say that this is a strong album. As for the Hokey Pokey, it is a FUN song and it sounds good. Autour du Rocher is a nice diversion from his typical style and some of the others are solid song writing. Simple? Yeah, but it largely works. Actually some of the singer-songwriter stuff should take you back to his early days. Does he have to have steel drums on every song???? I think that doesn't always work and like to hear some straughtforward stuff that sounds good.

This is a great album done in a different light then his earlier stuff.....but with the same plan in mind...travel and see the world and explore different cultures....
the song far side of the world means more to me then anyone can ever know......I could listen to that song and watch the video every day...
someday I will....I have been saying this since I was old enough to know what it means.....
Autour De rocher.....well that is comming up this winter.....
St.Barts here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
