This is huge, if its not a April fools day joke. Just saw this on Chicago Parrothead group also. Is the source reliable?

Re: Las Vegas 2017
Ironically enough, I'm on a plane to Vegas right now as I type this. Will see if there's any signs at MGM which hint at a tour name, etc.

So where is it officially confirmed ?? There is nothing on the MGM Grand website.
Is this an official tour or one with no name?

Just so I understand correctly.urlcenter wrote:It is part of the "I Don't Know Tour" according to information on FBtomdeb1986 wrote:So where is it officially confirmed ?? There is nothing on the MGM Grand website.
Is this an official tour or one with no name?
This is the 2nd stop in Las Vegas on the “I Don’t Know Tour”?
Scatter shooting and random thoughts…
How will the set list differ?
Will JB be phoning it in again? (Yes the 10/15/16 Vegas show was close to a phone in)
Will there actually be a top song of the day?
Will there be a featured album?
Will there still be a pool party?
How fun /crowded will Las Vegas be during the final weekend of NCAA March Madness?
Not for sure if this will be a fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me situation.
I am thinking I might just save my money and only go to the Frisco show which I am hoping will be a different show /set list than the “I Don’t Know” tour.
Re: Las Vegas 2017
Yes since it seems to be the case based on advertising posted on FB which makes sense given that Jimmy normally does two Vegas dates a week apart in October but did not do that last year because of other artists scheduled at MGM.PVBigDaddy wrote:Just so I understand correctly.urlcenter wrote:It is part of the "I Don't Know Tour" according to information on FBtomdeb1986 wrote:So where is it officially confirmed ?? Re: Las Vegas 2017
JIMMY BUFFETT AND THE CORAL REEFER BAND
TO PERFORM AT MGM GRAND GARDEN ARENA
SATURDAY, APRIL 1
Tickets on sale Monday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. PST
LAS VEGAS (January 31, 2017) – The wait is over. Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band will perform at MGM Grand Garden Arena, Saturday, April 1 at 8 p.m. as part of Jimmy Buffett’s “I Don't Know'” Tour 2017.
Local Parrotheads won't want to miss their chance to soak in the full Margaritaville experience.
“We are excited to see Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band returning to Las Vegas this spring" said Greg Siegel, executive vice president of Live Nation Southern California. “Jimmy Buffett’s fans love to party and Las Vegas provides one of the most festive atmospheres for Parrotheads anywhere. Don't miss out!”
Turning Margaritaville into a musical has been an idea for quite a while but now it's gearing up to make its debut. "Escape to Margaritaville" will have its world premiere at the La Jolla Playhouse, in La Jolla, Calif., in May 2017. After that, the musical will make a pre-Broadway stop in New Orleans, Houston and Chicago. The play will feature the music and lifestyle of Jimmy Buffett, from an original story, and includes both new songs and the most-loved Buffett classics. Speaking of Buffett classics, the most famous of them all, "Margaritaville" has been inducted into the 2016 Grammy Hall of Fame for its cultural and historic significance. Another milestone this year is the 40th anniversary of the 1977 album Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes, which featured the debut of “Margaritaville.” Other iconic songs from that record are regularly performed on tour as requested by the fans, such as the title track, “Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes,” “Lovely Cruise,” and “Banana Republics.”
Tickets are $212, $107, $70 and $40 (not including applicable service charges or tax) and go on sale to the public Monday, Feb. 13 at 10 a.m. PST. Tickets may be purchased online at AXS.com or charge by phone at (888) 929-7849. Limit eight tickets per guest.

The first tour that did not have 2 Vegas show was the 2015 "Workin and Playin Tour" and the advertising for the April 1st show has the tour name "I Don't Know 2017"tomdeb1986 wrote:urlcenter wrote:Yes since it seems to be the case based on advertising posted on FB which makes sense given that Jimmy normally does two Vegas dates a week apart in October but did not do that last year because of other artists scheduled at MGM.PVBigDaddy wrote:Just so I understand correctly.urlcenter wrote:It is part of the "I Don't Know Tour" according to information on FBtomdeb1986 wrote:So where is it officially confirmed ??
