Year two for us in Camden, with our 8-year old in tow, coming down from CT, and was wondering where THE lot is going to be. Last year, we strolled a few, but were filled with typical tailgaters, and this time I want him to see the real deal: the sand-filled pick-up trucks, inflatable pools, tiki bars and palm trees, etc. I am brand new to this board, but though it would be worth a shot...or two

Has anyone used the ferry option to get in/out of the concert? I booked an airbnb in Philly, and noticed it's less than a mile from the ferry terminal, and was wondering if it would be a good idea for my family to take that instead of driving in and parking. Thoughts or experiences appreciated

Welcome to BN!

There are some who have ferried in. Our crew is coming from Lancaster County with 2 from NJ and 1 from VA. We are heading here and plan to meet this group at 9 in "Campbell Field" which is next to the venue lot. Our last time in Camden was '11 when there was a horrible issue with lots not opening until close to 3. We understand that has changed and it seems they usually open around 11-12.

I don't know how this compares to past years when lots have opened at 11-12 but the venue's website is currently listing a 3PM lot opening time.

I just saw that too but I'm betting once the crowds start blocking traffic in a 1-mile radius they will open .

Event Times: All times subject to change
Box Office: 10:00am
Parking: 3:00pm
Gates: 6:00pm
Show Time: 8:00pm

Items ALLOWED to be brought in to venue:
•Small bags / back packs
•Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
•Personal Snacks in a clear, 1-gallon ziplock bag
•Lawn Chairs – low profile (seat no more than 9 inches off the ground)
•Water – up to 1 20oz factory sealed bottle per fan or Empty Water Bottle
•Blankets (for the lawn)
•Small Tote Umbrellas

Items NOT-ALLOWED to be brought in to venue include, but are not limited to:
•Weapons of any kind
•Alcohol

•Glass containers of any kind

lol You say that on a 6-page thread. You should have been around in the days of 75-80 page threads.

It's a Buffett concert. Everyone is welcoming. Walk around and introduce yourself to people. You'll find plenty of parties/new friends.
