Its a legitimate question. At many concerts in the past he has said see you next year. Gives fans an idea what the future holds. But laugh away if it makes you feel better.
Whether or not it's a legitimate question is irrelevant. I think the point he's making is that over the years Buffett has said a lot of stuff during shows. It's hit or miss whether he follows through.

If he sticks (more or less) to his Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday schedule that could mean 6 more West Coast dates....

Thursday October 19, 2017 – San Francisco
Saturday October 21, 2017 – Chula Vista

Jimmy is only doing 5 shows per tour leg this year so there will likely only be one more show in October which might be back in Vegas on 10/28. Irvine Meadows in no more as it closed for good last year so that stop is out there is no way he would 10 shows before the trip to Hawaii
