I saw the preliminary schedule and thought he was serious this time.
And on my birthday to boot!
How's ticket sales going?
Last year I arrived without but used a print of somebody else's to get in, and since you really couldn't get in the lot without one I was the only buyer.
Didn't even have to be one, everyone was just giving them away as a result and not even finding takers other than me.

2) My license plate tabs expire 7-11.
3) Jimmy plays Pine Knob AKA DTE 7-11.

No. Nearest camping to my knowledge is about 15 minutes north of the venue. 3 nice campgrounds to choose from, 2 with great beach access.

Last year we arrived around noon and were so happy the lot was open! However our plans of parking by the trees in the middle were thwarted by the parking crew who made us stay in line and park up close to the front on the hot blacktop. We were bummed out for about 30 seconds until that first drink was poured...

Damn Parking Lot Nazis!! I think we got in around 2. Had to park couple rows in frot of the "Oasis" as I call it, but we just carted our stuff up there & set up. Much better in shade & grass.
Kind of concerned that the lot won't open as early due to it being a Tuesday show this year.

Just called DTE and was told by "Mike" that the parking lot will open at 2:00 pm (versus the normal 4:30) and he indicated it's unlikely it will open any earlier. Does anyone have any experience (as in Detroit Finz) with this info being "general" and they may, in fact, open before 2:00?

Someone else was told 1:00pm. Last year It said 2:00 and they opened at 11:00. We will have to wait and see.

Five days until the big show.

Thought I would give an update so people know how I can be found as I would like to meet ALL of you that will be there.

I am planning to be at the Park and Ride. Look for my Canadian flag tied up to my open trunk (black Kia). I will have Bloody Caesars to share.

At the main tailgate, look for this set up:

I will have to share:

Margaritas (the lady on the right is drinking one), Hurricanes (the lady on the left is drinking one), LandShark Lager, and Jell-O Shots.

I will be checking out other tailgates as well, so look for me.

Also will have beads and other surprises for the ladies.
