Who's going to Cincy Riverbend July 8th?

My husband and I will be there! We're driving over from Indiana. One question though we're driving in on Saturday and would like to get there by 2pm. We're staying in downtown Cinci, how long do you think it will take us to get parked by 2pm, leaving from downtown Cinci? Will the lines be as long as the wait to get in at 8am?

Though this is our first time at Riverbend, we've been to several Buffett concerts, any suggestions as to what we should bring?

Welcome to BN, metmer. I'm Bill, I paint. We stayed downtown last year. Plan on 20 minutes to get there, but it may be 10. Take 471 South to 275 North and take the Coney Island exit right over the river. The lot you will have to park in is on the right. Sorry, the grass lot across from the pond will be full.Bring the usual stuff, plus a pop up. That lot is paved and HOT! There is parking in the back on grass, but out of the action. Check out the photo on the previous page or google the venue. Good luck!

Good Morning All. We've been to many JB concerts but this is our first trip to Riverbend. Looking forward to meeting all the Cincinnati PHs! A quick question about the tailgate - are vehicles parked in rows of two, that one vehicle parked right behind the other so some end up setting up their tailgate in front of their vehicle while other set up behind? Our group will be arriving in two vehicles so we would like to knowif we should enter the parking lot with a vehicle in between our to allow us to set up next to each other.

Does anyone know if a car can be left at the lot overnight and picked up in the morning? If we drive there and take a cab back to our hotel after the show we would like to come back in the morning and get our car

There's a ton of parking at the actual venue itself, as well as Coney Island waterpark next door adjacent to the venue as well as the Casino just a little bit further down the street. Those are all paved lots, they just don't allow tailgating at any of those locations.

Hello all, Fins Up! Out of Cleveland area here. My wife, brother n law (he is single ladies) and I will be joining this annual Parrothead gathering. This would be my ummm "I don't know" time in Cincy. Been to so many. As well as others throughout my younger days of youth.. and I am only 36. We are pretty stoked that its a Saturday show. Our plan is to bust of out our office at noon Friday, drive to Columbus. Wife wants to stop at the new IKEA (god help me) and meeting up with some cbus friends for the evening. In the morning, pack up the coolers with Landshark beer, margaritas/ blender/portable gas grill/food and whatnot.. stop somewhere for bags of ice.. get to grass lot about NLT 10am, and set up camp. Start grilling cheeseburgers and chill!!!! Hope to meet great new people to the each side of us and across and everywhere!!! Fins Up and see you on the beach!!! Bob Saban

WVParrothaed thanks for the video. We plan on arriving around noon on concert day. Which lot should we try to get in for the best tailgating? I see in your other post some lots do not allow tailgating.

If you're getting there around Noon, the two tailgating lots will be full by that point. Your best bet is to park across the street at Riverbend or Coney Island and just walk over to one of the tailgating lots. Be mobile. Riverbend lot MAY let you drink around your car if it's in a cup but I highly doubt they'll tolerate any canopies and stuff.

This is exactly what I did on my solo trip to the Nati. Pulled in around noon-1ish & Parked at Riverbend lot & toted my wheeled cooler around across the road. Seemed to work for me!
