Although I do not like chocolate, and realize I am in a minority group because of it, I bring you:

NATIONAL CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM DAY
To observe National Chocolate Ice Cream Day on June 7 all you need is chocolate ice cream. Who says you have to stop there, though? You can have it in a cone or make it from scratch. Add sprinkles or syrup or whipped cream.

Chocolate ice cream is the second most common flavor, surpassed only by vanilla. The chocolate flavored ice cream has been in existence well over a hundred years and has been popular in the United States since the late 19th century.

Cocoa powder is blended in with eggs, cream, vanilla and sugar to make chocolate ice cream. The cocoa powder is what gives the ice cream a brown color. Other flavors, such as rocky road or triple chocolate chunk, use chocolate ice cream in their creation.

Sitting in the Pensacola Airport with time to kill. I was going to hang out in town for a little while before returning the rental car but the tire pressure warning light on the dashboard came on about 5 miles from the airport so I just dropped off the car. Now to find someplace to eat after I go through security.

It's been a little over 3 years since I had a beer in the state of Florida. I believe it's time to rectify that situation while I wait for my flight.

I haven't left Pensacola yet and I already have an email from Delta that my connecting flight in Atlanta will be an hour late. It's going to be a long day.

My favorite ice cream is Mint Chocolate Chip.

ahoy!
We had scallops, lobster roll, lobster stew and pizza with blue berry wheat beer today. There's no room for chocolate ice cream.

I had a bagel and coffee, then a beer. I should probably get something to eat since I won't be home until around midnight.
