Good morning. There's a new place in town I have to check out, The Carolina Ale House. It's a chain based in North Carolina and the Myrtle Beach location just opened earlier this month. According to the website, they have 60 beers on tap. I can't go today because I'm going to the Pelicans game tonight, it's Craft Beer Tuesday, and I don't want to start pounding beers at lunch. It's supposed to rain tomorrow so that might be a good time to see what they have to offer.

Just got back from grocery shopping. Of course, my first stop was the beer aisle. It would have been the Beer Den but nobody was there. They have Bikini Beer from Evil Twin Brewing in Brooklyn. I've never had it but it's on the beer list at a place down here called Atlas Tap House. Unfortunately, every time I've gone there it's been out of stock. I wanted to try it if for no other reason than the name but it's $7.99 for a 4 pack. Thrifty southern gentleman that I am, I'll wait until they put it in the make your own 6 pack section.

Evening folks -- it's a scorcher here in PA. Almost too hot to sit out on the back deck but we Kevin & I did go out and have one of his home brews (yummmmmm). Had the oscillating fan on and since the sun has moved around to the front of the house it wasn't TOO bad.

On a side note, the heart cath showed a small blockage but nothing that warranted any further action so now Im going to visit the gastroenterologist since the heart procedure hasn't alleviated the breathing difficulty issue. I am so over this crap.

I went to the river after a storm to find poor fishing. Thunder in the distance got me off water, but at least I wasn't pushing a lawn mower today, so I'm good.
