I'm a college student, so I'm still a young parrothead, but I've made it my goal in life to meet Jimmy. Is it possible to get backstage access? If so how? If not, is there anybody schoolin' around in the forum room who knows how I can meet him?

The trick is to find out what he does the day before the show and the day sfter, he likes golf, planes boats I would guess you would find him on a golf course. I know that when he plays GW one off day he plays golf, another he's flying his plane etc...

Thank you who responded. I'm not going to stop until I get to meet him. So if anybody has the inside track, or can help out please send me a private email.

Absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to meet Jimmy.....most of us would love to do the same.

Your expectations might be a little high to think that someone on this board will email you to say, "Come on with me, I'll be happy to introduce you to him." That would be pretty neat....but unlikely.

Best of luck with your quest!

Never had the pleasure myself, but my brother claims to have spent more than one night in the bar with Bubba in Jackson Hole WY one winter about 10 years ago.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting JB a couple of years ago on the island of Anagada in the British Virgin Islands. Sat at a picnic table on the beach at the Anagada Reef Hotel and had a great conversation. Just Sal and me and Jimmy. Have pics to prove it too. Made my day to say the least!!!!

May your dreams of meeting our "Leader" one day take place. I would hope maybe like a few lucky folks here in Austin over the weekend when Jimmy went into Walgreens cause he forgot his bifocals. Somebody got lucky!
