Good morning. Heading back home to Myrtle Beach today but my flight isn't until 4:00. Chicago-Charlotte-Myrtle Beach with only 42 minutes between flights. This should be fun. Good thing I'll be wearing my running shoes.

Garry and I are going to lunch after we check out of the hotel. Hooters isn't very close but there's a Tilted Kilt 3 miles away.

There's a Hooters about 7 miles from Ohare airport (the one we were at on Friday).
We can have lunch at Tilted Kilt and dessert at Hooters.

Hey folks!
Just finished a 2-hr scrubbing down of Calamity Cove. Even though we were playing with water it is WAY TOO HOT to have been working outside.

I have to change planes in Charlotte and I only have 42 minutes between flights. I looked at the departure board and there's another flight to Charlotte an hour before mine. I went to the American Airlines customer service desk and asked if there were any seats available on the earlier flight. There aren't, but the agent said for a $75 fee she could add my name to the standby list. No thanks.

The incoming flight is here, the passengers are off and we have an empty plane at the gate. At least we'll be able to board on time. I hope we take off on time.

I should know better than to worry about short connection times, the airlines build extra time into the schedule as a buffer. We took off from Chicago 10 minutes late and landed in Charlotte 25 minutes early. We haven't even started boarding yet.
