We get to go camping today with some friends so I am excited about that. Need to finish packing up the camper and allow our over excited dog FINALLY get in the car to go. Friend and I are walkng/running (?) a 5K this afternoon which ends on the parade route for the local parade which starts right after. I am kind of looking forward to my "audience" cheering me on at the end (the things that make me do something healthy....)


They are saying a chance of rain today and it is hot and humid. Perfect weather to set up camp... Oh well, tomorrow morning I will be enjoying coffee and a book under the awning and then it is on to a beach day so it's all good.

We had some relatively mild weather, high 70s and low 80s, since I got home from Chicago but it's supposed to be in the 90s the rest of the week. As long as it doesn't rain tomorrow, I think I can handle it.

I had a grand day on the river, pushing upstream for 11 miles with some fish caught. I passed a flock of geese,saw a heron land,had a hawk and eagle overhead as well. I need more suntan spray.

There was no rain in the forecast today but it started thundering a little while ago and there's a huge black cloud off to the west.
