Good morning Bill.
I moved here in November, 2012 so this is my 5th Halloween. The last 4 years, I bought a bunch of candy and I had no trick or treaters come to my door. This year I decided to save money and not buy any Halloween candy. I'll probably have an army of munchkins show up at my door.

We've been in our apartment for 7 years. Bought candy every year, till this year, too. Hopefully our streak of no kids will continue.

We usually have 30 to 40 kids. A couple of years ago, an old beat up van pulled up in front of our house and the side door opened and disgorged about 10 kids.... as they ran screaming up our sidewalk, the driver yelled "Solomente uno! Solomente uno!" Umm, you're not front the neighborhood, are ya?
Mrs SPH just buys plenty of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, her favorite, and then doesn't care at all if no kids come.

We moved from a suburban neighborhood and always had over 100 kids.
We now get 0. That's fine with me -- I don't like chocolate anyway so I don't need to have extra candy laying around.

Afternoon, BN. My neighborhood is a mix of commercial and residential buildings. So the kids go trick-or-treat at restaurants and stores. The police precinct and fire house also give out candy.
I've never had kids coming to my door. But then again, my building doesn't have a lot of kids that are old enough for candy.

Good afternoon folks. I'll be in my usual spot for trick or treat. Sitting on a bench in my driveway with a big bowl of candy,
a bottle of rum, and a box of cigars. I have the tiki torches set up in front of my big carved wooden tiki head and a flashing
multi colored light inside the jack-o-lantern. I also put up orange hanging lights on the patio. I'm all set.

Over 100 kids so far, I think they're bused into this neighborhood.
