I want to thank all of you who sent well wishes for George. Regretfully, he passed away a few hours ago.
Age 96 years and 3 days. I stood next to him in my "veteran's" hat and gave him a final salute. He was
an army medic in WWII. He moved on to the next world 359 days after he had a bad fall and head injury.
He just about made one more trip around the sun. Sail on old soldier.
