Good morning. I should probably start packing, I think I'll need about 5 minutes.

Robert Earl Keen is playing at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center tomorrow night. It's only 2 hours away and it's a pretty easy trip but I don't want to drive home after the show so I'm going down early tomorrow afternoon and staying overnight.

It's the "Merry Christmas From the Fam-O-Lee" show. this may be my favorite Christmas song

I've seen REK 7 or 8 times but this will be the first time since I moved out of NY, it's been almost 6 years since the last time I saw him. My first REK show was at Minute Maid Park in Houston in 2007, he opened for Buffett. My 2nd REK show was also in Texas, the Big State Festival in College Station later that same year.

Hi there Pholkareeno's,

Sorry I've been slack lately.

No excuses, I've just been slack. :)

Summer has hit us and I am loving it. Last three days have been over 30°C (86°F), but we have a big ole cold and wet weather front heading our way. I won't complain about the rain - the water tanks are down to about 1/3, so we need it.

Anyways, catch you all soon.

We need to put it in context though.... What's cold in Rabbitzland? 65°-70°F (18°-21°C) ?

I'll trade ya!

I’m very impressed. The surgeon who I’ll refer to as dr thumb called me at 6:00 to see how I was doing. I’ve gotten calls from the office nurses but never from the surgeon. (Maybe it’s because this is the 3rd time he’s “fixed” me)

Anyway......I reminded him I want that red and green cast in Dec 11.

Thanks for checking up on me Dr Thumb.
