Good morning. My connecting flight is in Charlotte. We just landed a few minutes ago, it's 25 degrees.

I hear ya CNF....I'd be bummed too with 40's/50's in FLA......

I just got home, it's 35 degrees. When I left for the airport last Friday I turned the heat off, I didn't want to pay to heat the place for 6 days when I wouldn't be here. It was 61 degrees indoors.

Driving in it was 1 , with a wind chill of -21. This isn't right. Bring back global warming.

It was cold in our neck of the woods, too. It has been a good day to piddle around the house in jammies and slowly work on taking down Christmas stuff. Currently under a blanket being held hostage by a 2.5 pound kitten who thinks he knows what is good for me

Hey y'all.

Supposed to fly to NJ this morning for visit with extended family. After we were already on the plane and pulling away from the gate the pilot announced a 'mechanical issue' and brought us back to the gate - thank gawd, didn't leave us sitting on the plane on the tarmac for hours. Then they announced that a guy was going to "...drive a part up from Boston". LOL, like they were picking up a sparkplug or something.

We left and came home. It's -5 degrees in Limeville tonight but at least we're together here with the keet. Mr. Lime is whipping up some pasta and caesar salad. And the airline is (amazingly) giving us vouchers for the full ticket amounts since we would have missed the primary family thing we were going for in the first place.

Ahoy! We all need a day hot enough to hide in the shade.

Being that I used to work for the Facilities Team years ago, it's not easy. Especially if you don't have new hardware/equipment.
