Another cold one here in Michigan. I am also on my third cup of coffee and very little intention of doing anything productive. Still being held hostage by the kitten; not that I mind.

Probably going to de-Christmas today. Usually wait until New Years, but this year I am just ready to pack up and move on. Having a few people coming to the house to ring in the New Year--hoping they ring quick and get out.


I think i am becoming a grumpy old person........

Good morning. I know it's nothing compared to other parts of the country, but it's only 31 degrees. That's cold for here. It must have followed me home from Las Vegas. I watched the 11:00 news Tuesday night when I was out there. The local weather guy said so far this year they haven't had any days with below freezing temperatures and they've never gone through an entire year without at least one day below freezing. The 2 coldest days in Vegas this year were 33 degrees last Friday and 36 degrees last Saturday, the first 2 days I was there. I thought it was a little chilly when I got out of the arena after the hockey game ended Saturday night.

I had a dream last night I was in Key West, must be my subconscious telling me to get out of this cold weather. It's only a 16 hour drive, hmmmm...

39 here this morning, ouch! I know it's colder up north but this is Florida, should be illegal to get below 60. Supposed to get to 60 today, I might survive this.

This is one of the beers I had when I was in Las Vegas. I only tried it because of the name but it was pretty good.

I was watching the (insert corporate sponsor's name here) Bowl on ESPN earlier. The announcer said one of the players was a descendant of Nigerian royalty. I wonder if he's related to any of those Nigerian princes who send me emails telling me they'll send me money if I'm would kindly give them my banking information?
