Good morning BN. I had a good year with lots of highlights. I'm ready for the next year and hope to see some of you then.

Morning Bill & BN.
2017 was a mostly good year for me but I'm done with this injury that has plagued me most of the month. I also now have a cold :evil:
C'mon 2018 so I can feel better!

The guessers said the snow would be 'way north' of us. Yup, they were wrong. It's only a dusting but it did make me chuckle when I looked out this am.
Happy last Sat of 2017 pholks!

Good Morning my PA fellows and VA girl

We've got 3" so far and it's still coming down.

I'm glad to see 2017 leave because :

of all my health "issues";

I'm another 365 days closer to retirement (although I've got a minimum of 4 years to go);

But am happy we celebrated the wedding of our daughter in May and our family is well !

Good morning BN. Deep freeze warning for the week ahead, bought some fire wood and I'm ready to hibernate.

Good morning, BN! :)

I'll happily forget 2017. Death and illness of loved ones. Loss of a job after 20+ years. Looking forward to the hope of a better year.

Morning BN. It seems like the new year isn't as big of a holiday compared to Christmas. It's business as usual at work.

Have a good one.

Just got done shoveling snow at three different houses and helped load up a big trailer load of household goods.
I'm done for today. :pirate:

Hi everyone!

2017 was a meh year for me I guess. Lots of change for our family. Brendan stepped away from Young Marines where he was Honor Grad just one year ago. Chris has stepped away from the leadership at Elf Khurafeh Shrine after about a 5 year stint. Friends who we thought were dear are now far and distant. All three of these things were very hard to accept initially but all have opened new doors for us which is good.

Looking forward to 2018 for the new roads we will be travelling. Sophie's volleyball will take us to Indianapolis and Cleveland; both places we have never been so that might be fun. The kids and I get to go to Florida in February and have plans to see some friends and meet Chris and Marilyn if the planets align. I am seriously contemplating a half marathon this year with a pal who feels that the only thing hindering me is my desire. The 80 plus additional pounds that I have to lug along with me and the fact that the longest I have ever walked is 6 miles at a time has NOTHING to do with it.......knowing me she will sucker me into it :)

In the fall, both of my kids will be in high school, in the school where my office is. The last time they had to "share a school" will have been 6 years ago. Watching them grow has been such a joy but I grieve my little boy and girl. Must be why I got a kitten this year.... :)

Enjoy your end of the year and be careful in your celebrations tomorrow. We are having a few families over to celebrate and we are all wondering if we will make it to midnight to ring in the new year :)

Evening, peeps. 8)

Pup is (finally) exhausted from playing on the snow. Keet just left to see friends then on back to school. Loved having him home for a few days.

Mr. Lime is making a beef stew out of the leftover rib roast and it smells divine.

Life is good in Limeville.

Ahoy! A Lake Erie streamer dropped 4 inches this afternoon, then blue sky was followed by a big moon.

we have been getting a dusting to about a 1/2 inch of snow each morning and with the wind and cold temps it has made the roads skating rinks. I ventured out today for groceries for the holiday and even slipped and slid on what I consider main back roads. Tons of accidents on the expressways. Made me glad we had nothing better to do but stay home.

Hi All,

Almost 5 PM NYE here in Oz.

Apparently 1.6 million people are expected to line the foreshores of Sydney Harbour for the fireworks - some have been camped out for a couple of days.

Well, screw that.

We'll watch it on telly like 1 billion other people :)

While we aren't the first into 2018 we are close, so Mrs Rabz and I want to wish all of our Parrothead friends all the best for 2018 and we truly hope that you all have a fantastic year.

Fins Up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
