Today is National Hug Day.....hope you already know how to celebrate
Kevin & I have no plans for today. Off to 11:00 church service then wrap up those pesky outdoor Christmas lights, a little light housecleaning and that's about it (no football for us -- we haven't watched any since the last season before what we call the NFL Flag Disrespect Season.)
Enjoy your day!

Morning Linda & BN.
We're off to the mountains with the pup & our new toy (the side by side).
Depending on the terrain, I might big the 'oh sh!t' bar
Happy Sunday y'all!

Good morning, Linda and BN!
If your weather is like ours, today will be a great day to get those lights down. Mid 40's and sun they are saying which usually doesn't happen together in Michigan in January. I am planning to spend much of the day outside walking and then running errands. Beginning the daunting task of remodeling and updates in the house. Just some the needed updates are going to be expensive........home ownership is kinda over rated.
Enjoy your day, all!

Good morning.
I went to see Jonny Lang at the House of Blues last night. The opening act was a guy named Reeve Carney. He's a pretty good guitar player but I didn't think he was much of a singer. He also plays guitar in Jonny Lang's band, he played Dorian Gray in a TV show called Penny Dreadful that was on Showtime a couple of years back and Art Carney is his great uncle.

That's a lot of relationships and connections!

Hugs are the best. I'm a hugger. Not with trees, tho.
We're home all day today. Several inches of snow, and it's still snowing. Some 'comfort' food meals for breakfast and dinner.

Friends who just moved to Wilmington came down for the day. We had lunch at Margaritaville then went to the Landshark Bar & Grill (it's right on the boardwalk) for a beer. I didn't have a Landshark.

Ahoy! Can I get an "Awe, poor guy?" I was making palm fronds for portable trees when I burnt my thumb with hot glue. How I suffer to make this world a better place.

Awe, poor guy!!
I feel your pain. I've burnt myself many times with both the glue & the glue gun when I was making & adding new items to my Buffett hat.

So what did you think of Lang? Have you been a fan of his previously?
Saw him when he first hit the scene in the late 90's/early 2000's. Kid was a monster attacking the stage and the guitar with a vengeance. Fast forward to within the last 10 years....have seen him a couple times. Still kinda like him but a little too old school Mississippi/Preachy Blues for me these days.
