I'm just stunned at the s*** show that developed trying to get people inside. I've never seen anything like that before. There were thousands of people who missed most if not all the show.

Fortunately we parked on the other side and used the east entrance so we didn't have to go through that chaos.
It was nice to hear The Weather is Here, Wish You Were Beautiful and Cowboy in the Jungle live. That doesn't happen too often. But the rest of the setlist was pretty underwhelming. Especially closing out the show with Why Don't We Get Drunk. That was brutal.
The glory days of this experience are definitely in the rear view mirror.

First time at a Pittsburgh show. Drove out after the Camden show on Thursday. Pleasantly surprised that parking was free. Tailgate was good, better than Camden this time around. We missed the disaster at the gates by getting in line early. We were noticing how empty the place seemed at the start of the show and saw the long line out in the parking lot yet, so, we lucked out by not waiting too long to get in line. Overall, the show itself was okay, nothing spectacular, but still a very good group of musicians backing Jimmy. Disappointed in the last song again, (he ended Camden with that too). That being said, of course I’ll be attending a show next year.

The East was just as bad. At 9 pm there were still people shoulder to shoulder on the long walkway from the parking lot out by Rt. 18. There are plenty of pictures on social media proving this. You can't blame the fans for this one. The gates opened at 6:30 pm. There was never not a line. So good for the people who were some of the first in line but it was the speed (or lack thereof) of the check in/security/scan that took forever.

The problem is people stay as long as possible in the lot , before heading in. Security( i work security at a theater , granted nuch smaller) can only get people in so fast, especially with the new security measures ( searching back packs and pocket books). It's time consuming. The start time on the ticket says 8 , plan accordingly. The performers aren't going to wait. They are on a schedule , as is most venues . I laugh everytime i here , they started!!!. 8:00 means 8 , not when you decide to get there.

I hear what you're saying but that was not the issue Saturday night. The gates opened at 6:30. There were already people in line then. There was NEVER NOT a line! So that falls on the people processing people into the venue. They simply couldn't handle the volume of the crowd in that hour and a half time frame.

Our BN crew of 16 were part of the 4 steel city fins club busses.
As far as we know everyone on our busses went in through the West Gate. Kevin & I were in line by 6:30 and in our seats within 15 mins -- no problems at all. It sounded like the largest crowd/longest wait was at the South Gate.

We’ve been to Pittsburgh many times. We left the lot at the same time we always do and we were stopped in line about halfway up the cattle shut to the east entrance at 6:45. It took us an hour at reach the entrance. This never happened before. The young man letting only 4 or 5 people up to the metal detectors said he didn’t know what he was doing.
We looked back as we neared the entrance and the line was backed up to the parking lot entrance road. Nope. This was NOT on the concert attendees.

"Managers of KeyBank Pavilion are shedding no light on the changes to security blamed for turtle’s-pace lines Saturday that left some ticketholders stuck outside well after Jimmy Buffett’s set started."

"Thousands of Jimmy Buffet fans were left furious Saturday night because of prolonged delays in entering KeyBank Pavilion to see the popular singer. No reason was given for the virtually stationary security lines that caused many ticket holders to miss most of the concert."

Thanks to all that spread the word, the total was 370$ towards MS. Bern told me additional donations were done online. I feel blessed to do what I love and help others too.

I know you do it for others. I just hoped to surpass the other total. Did that happen? Can't remember which show you referred to.

Cleveland had the highest hourly rate, but we once again lost overall to Pittsburgh.....something we are all to used to!!
BUT
However, I see three winners provided by Bill's painting and the generosity of Parrotheads. I really hope we get to do this next year, to even bigger and better results. Pittsburgh donations would have been even greater, if not for the venue security, who once again TRIED to screw up our PHun by ruining our setting up for the second year in a row.
4 winners if you base it also on the smile on Bill's face..................
