I didn't have any pizza but the Beer Den at my local supermarket had an event tonight. There's a brewer in North Carolina called Foothills, they make a stout called Sexual Chocolate. I'm not much of a stout drinker but the Beer Den had both the 2017 and 2018 vintage on tap today, along with 6 other beers I've never had before. I had tasters of both versions of Sexual Chocolate and they tasted the same to me. I also had a Swedish IPA called Omnipollo Shoutao (my first Swedish beer) that was pretty good and something called Pendulum Pilsner from Baltimore (all of their beers have an Edgar Allan Poe reference in the name) that was forgettable.

Ahoy! Dieting bites. I had a steak salad out tonight and came home for some of jePH's fruitcake.

Sorry, Bill. Just think of it as a change in habits, not a diet. :)

E loves Imo's pizza from St. Louis. We can order crusts, sauce, spices, cheese (Provel), and Italian salad dressing for salads. We just added the pepperoni (tons under the cheese). They turned out great. :) He ordered enough to make six pizzas and this was the last of it.

I am not sure if I will ever work a 5 day work week again. We were off Monday and today due to road conditions. Probably was necessary Monday but so far today we have less than an inch of snow. They are predicting more through the day so that is what led to the school closures. My kids and my calendar are a wreck with this on and off days. Next week is a 4 day week with students then we are off for a week for a break. Kids and I are Mickey Mouse Bound that week, so that might be fun, but I kinda need to get back into a routine. My students who thrive on routine are also struggling.

However, not having to wrestle work clothes is a plus this morning. Have a great weekend!
Care to let my Grandkids tag along???? [smilie=whistle.gif] [smilie=whistle.gif] I've got an 8th grader, a 6th grader & a 1st grader..... :D Which school you in Mel?
Bring them!! I am at the high school and Gates Elementary. I wonder if my daughter knows your 8th grader. She is also in 8th grade. Small world, huh?
