Tam-Lynn invited me up for a Cinco de Mayo party, which apparently in Canadian falls on the 12th of May.....must be the exchange rate. Told me I could stay with you. I haven't told her yet that I have been banned from the last time, which involved a shaved moose, maple leafs, super glue, and 300 miles of silly string....

The location we wanted to hold the party at was booked long ago for an engagement party, and Club pholks decided to do it the week after. I was hoping that either the bride or groom to-be would mess up by at least Valentines, and the whole thing would be called off so we could have the 5th. Apparently they're too well behaved - or know how to not get caught!

I thought I'd have something "wittier" to say, but I'm too damn tired. As soon as I got home tonight I had to come back into work and still am there. Big wind storm went through, lotsa trees down on roads and in parks, power outages still on-going, and one of the libraries' lost some pieces of the roof. But to be on topic, we're in the month of Blossom! Better days ahead, and I'll be out of the country!! (Customs man permitting....)

Ran into Amo tonight, we celebrate our Cinco on the 4th.....restaurant that packs them in night in and night out, with what was THE WORST Mexican food I have in a long time.....I think I ate tomorrows Kentucky derby loser a day early.....Lori's was even worse. YIKES! Guac was good, and Margaritas were awesome however.... 17oz. for $5.99. And generous with the booze. (Translation - touch over half a liter....lol)

Owner wanted to do a shot with us. being the considerate PHolk that I am, joined him for a silver Tequilla. He was so amazed at my kindness that he poured a second. Amo was gone by this point, or it could have gotten ugly.......

On the subject of Amo, he may have a bus group lined up to party with us that will make the man with the paint in the hand VERY happy... I hope he takes his heart medicine. We, of course, will have to supervise VERY closely. Least we can do for Brother Bill. And Amo is familiar with Spiducci. May be the only Polish person in Ohio who is. I will be grilling Amowurst, forgot to mention this to him tonight. Amo, don't bring the dogs, they will only take up space for the beer. We have it all covered. Slavic Village Kolbasi.....................

Buses sold out same day as listed. Wild. Could have filled 4, 5, 6 if he wanted to. Extra buses just not available during the holiday weekend.

hope the shaved moose has grown his fur back......feel kinda bad about that one...................

Dagnabit Bern! What's this bus info I'd be HAPPY about? Don't leave me hanging like this. I can't take the suspense.

The Moose is loose (once again). Others have taken the next shifts for damage assessments, etc. It's just preparation for 3 weeks from now! Glad you're getting some practice in for pre-partying, etc. You don't really believe that we're going to let you go to work and miss "the night before", do you??!!
And yes, the spiducci will be making the trip south again. As well as the peameal for "breakfast" sliders. We can go over the menu & equipment list off-line.
