Morning BN. The news said we might get something called the sun. It hasn't made an appearance since Thursday.
Have a good one.

Good morning. It's only semi-sunny here and the forecast is 80% chance of rain this afternoon. Maybe I'll find someplace to go for lunch and have a couple of frosty beverages while it rains.

We get a lot of drab, drizzly, depressing days up here in the Upper LH Corner, but then we get a morning like this to remind me why I live here:

I'm just the opposite.... I'll be 68 on June 1 and Nicole will be 25 on June 4.
I shake my head when I read about these 70+ year old guys still makin' babies.... They're lucky if they live long enuff to see them graduate from high school!

we had our kids "late" for our era
when our daughter (the one born in 1990) got married last year she was the age that we were when her brother was born!

Ahoy! I worked out to pay for the sins of the weekend.I'm up 7 pounds. There is more paying ahead for me. At least Miss yoga pants was there working out with a smaller woman. I think she could be Miss petite toga pants.

We had our 'keets in 1987 and 1993.... I have friends with grandkids older than my youngest!
I'm glad we waited, I sure wasn't growed up enough to be a father in my younger days. I've always heard "if you wait until you can afford a child, you'll never have a child" but by waiting until our careers were stable and our income steady, I think we did a much better job. When I was paying for those private schools in my later years I was kinda envious of my friends who were done with all that crap, but then again, I was able to pay for those private schools! And now I have two weddings to pay for with Social Security checks!

You youngsters keep working so those checks keep rolling in!

It's raining so it was a good day to go to Mellow Mushroom for pizza and beer.

Pizza and beer should be one word, can't imagine pizza without beer. Haven't been to Mellow Mushroom in years, might be time for a visit.

Afternoon BN.
House cleaned & laundry done. Sausages with green peppers & onions for dinner that I'll start on shortly.
Hadn't heard of a Mellow Mushroom around my parts, so I checked. I have them but they are either 50 miles north or 50 miles south...guess I won't be trying them anytime soon

Mellow Mushroom has really good pizza and about 40 beers on tap. They also have burgers, salads and sandwiches. I haven't tried the burgers or salads, I've had a couple of their sandwiches and they're pretty good. We have 3 of them here, 4 if I want to drive an hour to Florence. I went to the one in North Myrtle Beach today because I had never been there before but it's almost 25 miles from me. I'll stick to the ones in Myrtle Beach and Murrells Inlet, they're both less than 10 miles away.

Yeah, I remember the good old days when the Birthday Fairy was active...
We had a string of b'days all in a row, E and Don and Marcus and then me and then BEG.... I think The Surf Pirate was in there too.
I hate Facebook! (But I'm on there now as Mel Johnson.)
