I had a ticket for the original date for Charlotte but when it was rescheduled I called TM and got a refund. The show wasn't sold out so I made another hotel reservation and thought I might buy a ticket and go anyway. I decided to stay home a couple of days ago, went online and cancelled my hotel reservation. It'll be a relaxing (and inexpensive ) weekend in MB instead of about a 3 1/2 hour drive each way and 2 nights in a hotel.

I just got tickets for Little Feat in July.

I had a couple of errands to run and on the way home I decided to take a detour and drive by the airport, the Myrtle Beach air show is tomorrow and Sunday and they've been doing practice runs the last 2 days. You can see the cell phone lot from the road and it was completely full, people were sitting in beach chairs on the grass watching the various teams going through their routines. About a mile from the airport I saw just about the best anti-drunk driving message I've ever seen, simple and to the point. There was a car parked on the side of the road - the front half was painted to look like a Myrtle Beach PD patrol car, the rear half looked like a taxi. On the side it said POLICE OR TAXI, YOUR CHOICE.

Ahoy! I caught so many fish today, my hands are cramping. The duet with JB and Tobey Keith was stuck in my head...I'm sittin' in my fishin' boat....
