Something I just posted on FB, after seeing a post from a long time friend. Tho I don't know why I'm no longer their friend on FB. It matters not, but they may not like all of my food posts. LOL!!!

The friend has a son, with a long term fight with the father.
Years ago I anonymously did something financially to help a friend. They never knew it was me. I still wish I could let them know, not because I want 'recognition', but because I wanted them to know I cared. I hadn't thought about it for years, until tonight. As my friend Terry Mathews always said, "It feels good to do good".

Good morning, Pen and BN gang. I saw your FB post about doing good. You always "do good." Have a great day.

Good morning Debbie and Penny. I donate time and money often. One organization printed a banner with donor's names for a parade. I declined the first year, then realized my name may stir others to give.

Good morning BN, another beautiful spring day. Long day of sailing yesterday, sun, rum and Buffett, taking it easy today.

Good morning all. Busy day yesterday. I spent 10 hours as the announcer at the 57th annual Cedar Cliff Relays.
It's an invitational track and field event for middle school and high school teams.

Good morning. I have to sort through the pictures I took of the Blue Angels yesterday and see if any of them came out good.

The local NBC affiliate had 8 hours of live coverage of the air show yesterday. I didn't go to the show so I watched some of it while I was waiting for the Blue Angels to start. The chief meteorologist and 2 reporters went up with different pilots, civilians, not the Blue Angels, during Wednesday's and Thursday's practice session. One of the female reporters went up with a stunt pilot named Shawn. At the end of her report she said "Shawn gave me the ride of my life." I think she might want to rephrase that.

Morning BNers
Looks like a pretty day. Maybe I will get something done today between the Rockets and Astro games.

Howdy kids.

E and I went to the Rec Center again - I rode the bike and we walked 3/4 of a mile again. I'm just so excited that we're able to do ANY kind of exercise together again!! Thank goodness for new knees!!!

Yay for new knees! Seeing calories burned has a twofold benefit. I won't eat a lot of sweets knowing how much I pedaled to burn those calories. There will be VERY FEW banana splits this year.

Good evening folks! Slow day on the calendar but busy doing βstuffβ.
Church then off to Lowes for weed killer. Even though our yard is small it seems to do well growing tons of dandelions. Thanks to the builder for using crappy top soil.
A friend from church is building us a frame for our master bath mirror so I painted out the trim today.
Starting to pack for my first of this year girls beach trip that starts at noon on Thursday and this year is extended to Monday afternoon.
