Good morning BN. I'm working with middle schoolers this morning. They are stocking trout raised in their class rooms and I'm teaching fly casting and tying.

Good morning. I don't know if I'm going to go to the Rivertown Music & Craft Beer Festival in Conway or the Cinco de Mayo Party at Broadway At The Beach. No matter what I decide, the weather's going to be great. It's already in the 70's and it's supposed to make it to the 80's this afternoon.

Morning/Afternoon!

E and I just got back from the Rec Center - We rode the bikes for a few miles, then I tried the elliptical. I really liked it, but only lasted about 5 minutes. Pretty hard work!

Then we walked about 3/4 of a mile.

I survived Walmart. Not near as crowded as I expected.
Got gots of fresh veggies to snack on. Not a huge fan, but trying to eat more healthy.

I left home Thursday at noon for a girls beach weekend which won’t end until Monday evening. Lots of laughing and drinking. We’ll soon be watching the derby whike wearing our handmade derby hats. We pulled the horse names and each threw $2 into the pot. Then we’ll vote on the best hat.

That sounds like fun!
Good luck on winning

Sounds like you are having a great time! Rooting for Mendelssohn! Drinking margaritas and praying for my Aunt to pass peacefully...

Maybe we should throw 2.00 in the pot and vote for best parrothead outfit at the Cleveland concert!

I went to the Cinco de Mayo party but there were a lot of drunken frat boy types double fisting Bud Light so I had my one Mexican beer and left. I went to the Rivertown Music & Craft Beer Festival and had a few good beers. There were a lot of really good looking women there. There were also a lot of hipster type d-bags. When I first got there, a bad bluegrass band was playing. But then are there any good bluegrass bands? When they were done, a really good funk band came on. I stayed longer than I wanted to just so I could hear the band.

Ahoy! I tried fly tying with kids outside today. The time was too short and it was windy. One chubby kid poked himself with the hooked locked in a vice!
Others did okay ,all things considered, and parents were pleased.

<--- Used to love the Kentucky Derby, as it used to be so classy. Now most of it is a joke, and even the National Anthem was awful.
<--- Never have celebrated Cinco de Mayo, as it's just Mexican St. Patrick's Day to me. It's not a celebration for us, just a reason for people to get stupid.
We made pizza's tonight, and they were good.
Back to the 'gym' in the morning, and another good dinner tomorrow.
